HD rice vinegar adds fresh acidity to stir-fries, salad dressing and dipping sauces for steamed dumplings. It’s an essential ingredient in Asian cooking and has a milder, sweeter flavour than Western vinegars. It gives sweet and sour dishes their addictive vinegar tang and can also be used to season rice for sushi.

Rice vinegar has a delicate flavour that works well in cold dishes, such as Sichuan chicken salad and stir-fried shredded potatoes. Mix the vinegar with fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, garlic and chilli for a zingy, sweet-sour dressing for Vietnamese noodle salads.
