Indonesian nasi goreng is a rice dish which makes use of pre-cooked fried rice and sambal chilli paste in its preparation. Thai brand Asian Home Gourmet’s Indonesian Nasi Goreng Spice Paste in 50g packet is an effort to replicate the authentic taste of the original nasi goreng dish. The dish is popular in Indonesia as a staple food, and it features a combination of tamarind, dried shrimp and chilli flavours in the stir-fried rice.


How to use:

  • Heat oil in non-stick wok or pan on medium-high heat. Add prawns and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Push the prawns to one side. Add egg and cook for 1 minute. Add rice and Spice Paste. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and stir-fry for 1 minute or until hot. Garnish.
